Alterations Process
-
Once you book your appointment, you’ll come in for your first fitting where we pin and assess all necessary alterations. We’ll talk through your vision, comfort, and any custom requests. After that, your gown goes into alteration and we’ll schedule additional fittings as needed to refine the fit. Your final fitting is when everything is perfected and your dress is ready for your wedding day.
-
Most brides need 2–3 fittings, depending on the complexity of the gown and the desired fit.
-
Please bring:
Your wedding shoes
Any shapewear or undergarments you plan to wear
Accessories that affect fit (strapless bras, belts, etc.)
-
We recommend starting 6-8 weeks before your wedding date.
Rush options are always available. It’s something we specialize in and are happy to provide to brides when the unexpected happens.
